Safety and Quality Coordinator
Our client is looking to add a dedicated Safety and Quality Coordinator to join their team on part-time basis (with the opportunity for full-time hours). This role is ideal for individuals studying health and safety or quality assurance or for parents seeking a part-time role that compliments family responsibilities
As the Safety and Quality Coordinator, you’ll help create and maintain a workplace that meets all safety and quality standards. You’ll support the development of safety policies, manage quality procedures, and conduct audits to ensure compliance with industry standards
What You’ll Do
- Support the creation and review of Health, Safety, and Quality policies
- Provide safety guidance on various topics, from noise levels to machinery use
- Manage our Hazard and Chemicals Registers and ensure accurate documentation
- Conduct risk assessments and offer advice on preventive measures
- Organise and support safety training sessions for the team
- Implement quality control processes and conduct regular audits
- Collaborate on corrective action plans and maintain quality records
Who You Are
- Qualifications: Certificate in Health & Safety and/or Quality Assurance
- Knowledge: Familiar with Qld Health & Safety legislation and basic hazardous materials
- Skills: Strong communicator with accurate data entry skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Experience: Knowledge of warehouse operations and auditing (preferred but not essential)
