Afternoon Shift – HC Local Drivers / Dangerous Goods – FAIRFIELD

Our client is a leading and dedicated supplier of medical gasses.We currently have multiple ongoing, temp to perm HC opportunity for a Tanker Delivery Driver based in FAIRFIELD, training will be provided.AFTERNOON Shift: 4PM START - MONDAY to FRIDAY$47.34 + OT where required and daily DG allowanceKey Responsibilities, Skills & Experience MUST have a valid HC licence MUST have a valid Dangerous Goods licenceSafely operate LPG tankers in accordance with statutory requirements and HSE policies.Perform line haul deliveries to terminals, major customers, and tanks throughout Sydney.Manage the accurate and timely loading and unloading of LPG tankers.Conduct regular vehicle checks and maintenance, ensuring all safety equipment is operational.Collaborate with the logistics team to manage delivery schedules and customer orders.Report any customer site defects or safety hazards and handle customer complaints effectively.Participate in safety activities, including emergency response drills and incident reporting.Experience and confidence operating a commercial vehicle in a safe manner. Previous experience with Handling Dangerous Goods is desirable1 Year Experience with Tanker delivery driving is essential.Ability to work autonomously but contribute towards collective goals and objectives.Good knowledge of Australian Dangerous Goods requirements Experience in healthcare related logistics would be favorable, but not essential.Be customer orientated with a "can-do" attitudeA Demerit Points Statement is requiredThis position involves the provision of services to clients requiring you to undertake a National Police CheckThe successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination.  Australia - NSW Sydney Parramatta & Western Suburbs

Key Responsibilities, Skills & Experience

  • MUST have a valid HC licence 
  • MUST have a valid Dangerous Goods licence
  • Safely operate LPG tankers in accordance with statutory requirements and HSE policies.
